History
and Pictures
I will be retiring from Bayer Corporation (the Aspirin folks),
on Jan. 31, 2006. I worked at various other companies throughout
the years including USAirways (known then as Allegheny Airlines).
Jack and I have been married 37 years on June 29, 2006. He returned
from Vietnam only two weeks before our wedding day. He always says
he walked off a plane and onto an altar. What can I say - Young
Love! We have one daughter, Joy, 35 years old, not married yet,
so still waiting for grandkids. Joy was a good soccer goalie at
Moon High School and received a scholarship to Wheeling Jesuit University.
She then attended Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, MI and now
works for a law firm in Las Vegas.
After Jack retires in January, 2007, we plan on moving to a lakehouse
we bought on Conneaut Lake, PA. We love the water and have a speed
boat and jetski. It's only 1 1/2 hours from family. We will spend
January and February in Florida and visit Joy for the month of March.
If you can read my t-shirt in the picture, you can see it says
"South Fayette". When my brother, Joe, was the basketball coach
and my nephew played, we had and opportunity to travel to Ireland
with the team back in 2001. Once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader,
even in Ireland. As you can see, we did have a few beers in the
pub.
I would love to have another reunion, but as Donna mentioned, it
is soooo hard to get people to come. If we combine with other from
the 1960's, maybe it would work. Now that I am retiring, maybe we
could spend some time on it using this website for information.
I would love to see everyone. GO LIONS!!!!!!
