WOW! After reading
all the accomplishments and exciting adventures of my classmates...
where do I begin. After graduation I married my high school and
\"still\" sweetheart. We will be celebrating our 41st anniversary
this August. After a round with the military and Vietnam, we continued
our life living and working in Cecil. In 1972 and 1974 we were blessed
with our sons Clinton and Bradley.
Our lives have
always been full with our church, family, friends, jobs and outside
activities. When we finally got both our boys settled in college
when we received the unsettling news that Den\'s company, his employer
of 27 years, was closing in Pittsburgh and he was being offered
a position in Raleigh, NC. With the cost of education being what
it is, figured it would be in our best interest to accept the transfer,
besides, warm weather and sandy beaches was a bit of a draw! Unfortunately
the transfer lasted only 3 years and off to Cincinnati, OH.....
Okay.... aging parents and five hours closer to home, that would
work.... Only to find that that only lasted three more years and
off to Cleveland, OH!! Do you have any idea how difficult it is
to be a diehard Steeler fan in Cleveland? I am happy to report that
our friends and neighbors have become accustomed to our flags flying
and all of our yard decor.
We have met
a great group of friends here as you can see from the pictures,
and travel every chance we get. We are both still working but looking
forward to retirement. I have been working in the Food Brokerage
business all of my life. I am currently working as an Administrative
Assistant, managing accounts for a Cleveland food broker. We lead
a very simple life, have found that the important things in life
are God, family, and friends with our greatest accomplishment being
our sons who have grown into God fearing, loving, fine young men
who are our best friends. We are still patiently waiting for grandchildren,
but in the meantime are doting over the light of our life, our English
Springer Spaniel named Sadie.
I really appreciate
all the work that Dennis, Kris, and Dale have done on this website,
and hope that a reunion is in the future. I would love to be able
to get together with all of our classmates again to talk about old
times. Lets keep our fingers crossed - and hope for lots of interest.
