History and Pictures

We both lived and worked in Pittsburgh until we moved to San Diego, California in 1973 to escape the cold and snow and pursue our careers in a warmer climate. Jeannie specialized in the executive travel business and Dennis was advancing within the financial services industry. Jeannie even escorted a tour group to Mainland China for three weeks visiting all of the historic and cultural sights within China.

In 1980, Dennis was promoted to a senior management position and we relocated to the Walnut Creek,, California area for two years before again Dennis was promoted to the Senior VP of Marketing with Washington Mutual Service Corporation in Seattle, Washington. Jeannie continued with her career as the Senior Manager of a large travel company in the Seattle area.

Again, the fortunes of climate and advancement allowed us to move to Kailua, Hawaii, which is on the windward side of Oahu. We worked, played and generally enjoyed ourselves in the sun, sand and waters for fifteen years before having the opportunity for both of us to be able to take an early retirement. Unfortunately, to do so, we had to move back to the mainland and chose the southwestern part of Florida. Granted, there is an occasional hurricane, but we are still in the warmth and sunshine year round.
