South Fayette 2007 Homecoming Football Game
The following is an invitation to the Friday, October 5, 2007 Football Game and Welcome Home Alumni Event.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2007
South Fayette 2007 Homecoming Football Game
Where: South Fayette Stadium Time:
• 6:30pm arrival and registration at the Alumni table and tent next to the Ticket
Booth at the entrance to the stadium.
Reception:
• Upon completion of your registration and sign up at the table you will be
directed to the Pride Room located on the second floor of the stadium complex
(elevator is available) to meet and greet alumni and retired faculty and current
staff who will be in attendance.
• The reception will also include hors d’oeuvres and beverages (at not charge)
Seating:
There will be a sign indicating an alumni designated seating area in the stands.
You are welcome to sit in this area or with your families in another section.
However, alumni with physical impairments are welcome to sit in the Pride Room
during the game.
Ceremony:
• Approximately 10 minutes prior to the half time events all alumni will be
directed to meet at a specific area on the track portion of the field to be
assembled into groups according to the decade of your graduation.
• Immediately after the 2007 Homecoming King and Queen are crowned the band
will play a song and all of the alumni will be led onto the field in a parade
format within the decade of your graduation. Current students will hold the
placards and lead the groups.
• After all alumni have marched unto the field they will line up in front of
the team benches facing the crowd to receive a formal welcome back salute as
a group.
• All alumni seated in the Pride Room will be recognized during this time as
well.
Admission Cost:
$5.00 (Adults)
Free to South Fayette Senior Citizens with a district gold card. (If you are
a resident of South Fayette and are 62 or over and do not have a district gold
card, please stop at the athletic office in the High School, bring proof of
residence and you will be issued a card)
We encourage all attendees to arrive by 6:30pm and check in at the Alumni Tent which will be set up near the ticket booth.
In order for us to have an approximate number of alumni attendees for the game and reception, PLEASE RSVP by October 3, 2007, and include the following information, either by email to Maureen Pedzwater at alumni@southfayette.org or (412) 221-4542 ext 253.
